Intensive support for children and families, delivered at home.
K&I is an enrolled Maryland Medicaid 1915(i) provider of Intensive In-Home Services (IIHS), serving children and families in Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties.

WHAT IS IIHS
Intensive care, delivered where your child lives.
Intensive In-Home Services (IIHS) is a Maryland Medicaid 1915(i) program for children and youth whose needs call for more than weekly outpatient care. A licensed therapist leads services in the family's home, working with the whole family on skills, stability, and safety. Families enrolled in IIHS receive at least two contacts with their team every week, with at least one visit in person, and have access to on-call clinical support around the clock. IIHS is provided at no cost to families enrolled in Maryland Medicaid who meet 1915(i) eligibility.
WHAT FAMILIES CAN EXPECT
Support built around your family.
Care in your home
Sessions take place where your child is most comfortable, so support fits into real family life, not a waiting room.
A team for the whole family
We partner with parents and caregivers, not just the child, building practical skills everyone can use day to day.
Connected to your community
We coordinate with schools, providers, and local supports so care is consistent across the places your child lives and learns.

WHO QUALIFIES
Children and youth enrolled in Maryland Medicaid who meet 1915(i) eligibility, as determined through the state's eligibility process, and who live in Anne Arundel or Prince George's County. Eligibility is determined by the state, not by K&I. Your Care Coordination Organization (CCO) guides families through that process.
HOW REFERRALS WORK
IIHS referrals come through the county Care Coordination Organizations. If your family already works with a CCO, ask them about a 1915(i) IIHS referral to K&I Healthcare Services. For CCOs and providers: fax referrals to (240) 667-1712 or use our online referral form. We confirm receipt of every referral and follow up within one business day.

FAQ
Common questions, answered.
Families enrolled in IIHS have 24/7 on-call clinical coverage and receive that contact information at intake. If you are not enrolled with us and your child is in crisis or thinking of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.
